Room B8 - Mrs. Scherle

Welcome to Mrs. Scherle's
Second Grade Den
I am excited about the 2009-2010 school year.  I want to introduce myself and tell you a little about what to expect from this school year.  My name is Mrs. Scherle (Shirley), and I have been teaching at Taylor since it opened in 2002.  During my life away from teaching, I enjoy showing my dogs, scrapbooking, and camping with my family.
The daily schedule is from 7:45 to 1:52.  Students in second grade will be entering a classroom of an average of 30 students.   PTO is very active and financially supports our classroom by funding field trips and assemblies.  They are always in need of parental support.  You can also help support the PTO by signing up for escript, by shopping at Vons and other local business they contribute to our school directly.
